A bit about me.

Lenny Cavazos didn't plan to become a real estate agent. She was working at a bank, watching clients come in stressed about mortgages, and realized she could do more for them on the other side of the transaction. That was 2001. Twenty-five years later she's still in Port Isabel, still picking up the phone on Sundays, still approaching every deal like her client's outcome is the only one that matters.

Growing up in coastal South Texas gave Lenny something no certification can teach: a real feel for this market. She knows which streets have the best water access, which neighborhoods are up and coming in Laguna Vista, what the real commute from Brownsville looks like, and why South Padre Island property behaves differently than the mainland even a mile away. That kind of knowledge only comes from being here.

Her practice is built around first-time buyers. People who are nervous, unsure of the process, and need someone they can actually trust. Lenny slows things down when they need to be slowed down. She explains what's happening and why. She pushes back when a deal isn't right and moves fast when it is. Clients who came to her as first-time buyers have come back as repeat clients, then sent their kids and their friends.

The Captain nickname came naturally. Guiding someone through a real estate transaction requires the same thing sailing does: knowing your route, reading the conditions, and keeping everyone calm when the waves pick up. Lenny's been doing that for 25 years.
